[celebrate] birthday boy

Despite the rain I'm going to make sure I properly celebrate the leader of our merry band's birthday.  The birthday boy or better said, man has a full schedule today, but I'm trying to sneak in surprises as I can before his official weekend trip to Bubba's World.

[love] my favorite pillow

Before I had twins I always thought that it would be so cool to have twins.  Then when I had twins I realized that hard over took cool by quite a bit.  Women constantly tell me that they wished they would have or did have twins and I always answer the same, they are wonderful but it's a lot to handle at once.  Sometimes though, just sometimes, I'm jarred back to that wish that I had a twin sister and I'm so thankful that I was blessed with these two beautiful little girls and they with each other.

[love] fourwheelin'

It's alive!  The four-wheeler is all fixed up and ready to ride and so is the boy.  I insist on the safety measures, he's only 5 after all.  He did REALLY good!

feeling the love ...

February will be here before we know it and I'm actually feeling somewhat prepared.  Check out the new additions to PlayPending Bows.  These kind of count as bows, right?

These pretty little heart pins come in pairs too!

I've got twins, so let's be honest.  They all come in pairs.

Valentines Day may be coming up, but I just placed my Girl Scout Cookie order!  A few for the Daisies and Brownies in my life.

I may just keep these for myself.

If you are interested in anything you see, just drop me a note and I will be glad to share!

[celebrate] ready for summer

From Christmas wishes to summer-time blues, I want to be lakeside in the sunshine.  Oh well, at least I can dream about the girls upcoming 3rd birthday party.  How about fish for a theme?

[love] christmas morning

A four-wheeler, two beautiful princesses, and a box of sandwiches ...

For me ...

Maybe it would have worked.  Maybe it can still work, but I'm not going to make it work anymore.  The idea of making a hobby a job isn't a bad one.  But it isn't for me.  I'm just not a salesman.  My hearts not in it and it honestly just takes the fun out of what I love to do.  I'm not saying that I won't take money for the little things I do if someone offers, but no more stressing about turning a profit.  I want it to be fun again, so I've decided to take the work out and put the fun back.  And what's more fun than a sharktopus?
